Destination Sheet for Copied Cells MIA After Making Copies

I'm having my PMs make copies of a template that has a "copy to" automation preloaded. When new copies of the template are made, everyone keeps getting the error message that the destination sheet has changed locations or permissions. I have tried updating to make sure everyone has admin permissions to the destination sheet, but the destination sheet still isn't coming up as an option for selection as the destination. Am I missing something here?

This issue is usually caused by permissions on the sheets. To clarify the permissions needed:

• The user editing the workflow must have Admin or Owner permissions on both the source sheet (the sheet on which they’re editing the workflow) and the destination sheet. 
  
• If the user editing the workflow has Admin permissions on the source sheet, the Owner of the source sheet must also be shared to the destination sheet with Admin permissions (or be the Owner of it). Check out Genevieve’s full explanation of this in this comment!
  

If you’ve confirmed that the Owners of the newly created source sheets have Admin permissions on the destination sheet and you’re still seeing the issue, I recommend reaching out to our Support team so that they can troubleshoot the affected sheets on the backend - if you can provide the URLs or IDs of the affected sheets (open the sheet and click File > Properties) when you open the case, that will help them to look into the issue more quickly.
