Why won't my data populate?

I'm trying to run a workflow to map data from an Excel file to a Smartsheet grid. I've taken the time to map the columns appropriately and created another column with ID numbers on both sheets that I hoped would serve as a reference point for the data to automatically populate. However, it's running for less than a minute and not updating any of the rows. The action I've selected the data to take is to merge data since I want to leave the other parts of the rows untouched. I just can't understand why it's not working.

It sounds like there might be an issue with your workflow

1. Do you have both an offload and upload flow set up?
2. What are your triggers for the execution of the flows?
3. The workflow may not be correctly identifying rows for the merge operation if there are discrepancies in the ID fields (extra spaces, formatting differences, etc.). Make sure the IDs are exactly the same.
4. Check your permissions on the Smartsheet sheet, if you don’t have editing access, the workflow will not be able to update the rows.
5. If possible, check any error logs or notifications from the workflow to see if there are any specific issues reported. Sometimes, it may point out which step or condition is causing the failure.
