Nested child cards/time management

Hi everyone! I need help with a couple of things please.

For our monthly KPI reports, we have to track how much time we spend on each task.

  1. How do I add subtasks to be the main task (i.e. total hours spent on that task overall)
    1. I would need to see total hours spent on the task overall and total hours spent on each sub-task that was done in order to complete the main task
  2. I need subtasks to be connected to the main task for reporting. (i.e. I want the report to tell me the subtask and the main task's name - for instance, if it's the subtask is: social graphic for the main task: networking event, I need to be able to identify that that social graphic is for the networking event. At the moment, the report only says 'social graphic' and I have to manually go back to the sheets to understand what main/priority task it's linked to.)

    Maybe try creating a "Parent Name" column and use the formula =PARENT(Primary@row) or whatever column name the tasks are in.
