Data Shuttle Issue - Map Fields To columns - Sheet Column Names Not Populating

Data Shuttle is not pulling in column names from my target sheet. I am building an upload workflow - pulling in data from a .csv attachment to update a dropdown column in my target sheet. The sheet column names in the mapping table all show generic names, e.g., Primary Column, Column2, etc. - see attached. I clicked Refresh The Source multiple times and refreshed the whole browser tab multiple times. Any ideas?

The Smartsheet status webpage shows all is green.

How is your source .csv created? Taking a wild guess that you're using an offload workflow to generate it from another sheet?

If that is the case, did you run your offload workflow before creating the upload workflow? The .csv needs to exist within the parameters you set, before the upload flow will recognise it.

@MarceHolzhauzen, yes, an offload workflow was already established and a .csv file produced before creating the upload workflow. The Data Shuttle system isn't recognizing the columns in my target sheet where the dropdown options will be updated.

    Morning @cjhagerman

Ok, here are a few other things to try:

    1. I checked and there aren't any known issues at the moment. https://status.smartsheet.com; however there was a login issue a few days ago. Not sure if this might have been a related issue.

    2. Try manually uploading a copy of your .csv to the sheet, then retrigger the upload workflow using the new manually added .csv. Once it has run once, retrigger your automated offload, and then redo the upload workflow.

(p.s. just as a double check, make sure your csv actually has data in it… sometimes they run and are empty)

If none of this works, I would recommend that you reach out to the Smartsheet Support Team. Smartsheet Support Team
