Eliminating Paperwork, Form uses, signatures??

Good Day,

Is there a way to create a signature using the forms? Say if one person is out in the field on their tablet, do a review with an employee. Can the employee sign to agree yes they have had this conversation?

Our goal is to eliminate as much paperwork as we can by utilizing the forms more.

Hi @Brianne

There is no official signature capturing in Smartsheet. You can, however, make use of approval workflows - that basically use digital tracking by way of logins. So you could set up an approval workflow that would allow the employee to "approve" that they did have the conversation. Their email and change date can be captured to verify that it was the correct employee.

Unless you need an actual physical signature for legal reasons, then you would need to use the docusign integration.

What do you consider to be a "signature"? Do you mean using the Docusign integration, or they put something on a form to confirm it is them?

Like a docusign type of function but right in smartsheet.. A way to capture their signature in real time
