10/25/24 - Cross Sheet References Not Saving

Before today our references have been working properly. As of today, we're were getting a #REF on our metadata tables. I went to update references but nothing was saving. I tried again but this time removed the references in the pop-up window and re-inserted a new reference.

Reference window will not save newly created inserts or edits. I've clicked the "+ Create" button and selected the correct sheet, when I go back to look at it, the newly created reference is missing. Now our whole Smartsheet platform is busted. I'm the owner of the workspace and on a mac (I've tried fixing via Firefox, Safari, and the App). Whats going on??

EDIT Problem Resolved. There was a second reference where the source sheet was deleted or moved. Which broke the references. Unsure how that happened. Additionally I made a user error on the naming system for the new references.

Glad to see you found the error! Naming systems for References are so important! Sadly, many people still do not utilize best practices of naming references, and leave them as "Sheet Name Reference 1" etc.
