Fixing Form Submissions Not Appearing in your Sheet
Issue:
Have you ever filled out a form and noticed that the submissions aren't showing up in the sheet where they should? This is a common problem, but there's a simple solution!
Cause:
This usually happens because rows with previous data in your sheet were cleared using the "backspace" key instead of using the "delete" option from the right-click menu. When this happens, new form submissions are pushed to the very bottom of the sheet, out of sight.
Want to check if this is happening in your sheet? Here's a tip! Use a filter to hide blank rows.
Create a filter to show or hide data
Solution:
To fix this, clear any unnecessary rows above your actual submissions using the "delete" option from the right-click menu. Once done, any new form submissions should appear correctly, whether at the top or bottom of the sheet, depending on the settings in your form configuration.
This should resolve the issue and make form tracking much easier!
Final Tip: did you know you can configure form submissions to appear at the TOP of your sheet? Here's more information: Make form submissions go to the top of the sheet instead of bottom
