Limited Capacity on Sheet and Loading Time

I manage creative services projects for a large healthcare organization, we use one sheet that has several linked reports. Loading time is slowing due to the large number of cells and I will need to move rows.

I have asked this question to the SS support team several times and have not gotten an answer. “Could you please let us know what other organizations do about this problem? We know there are large international organizations that use Smartsheet and it seems like they would hit their limit quickly.”

My manager and I are curious and would appreciate any feedback.

Are the linked reports you mentioned Smartsheet Reports, or just document file links? If document file links, where are the documents stored? If they're stored in Smartsheet as file uploads, that could slow things down vs using a link location within your organization, like SharePoint. You may also want to consider creating Smartsheet Reports to filter your sheet data into categories or subsets, and provide those report links to your users. They would open more quickly with less data in them than the full sheet.

Thanks mpt105. Our sheet is only linked to Smartsheet Reports. We have several of these depending on the team that needs them. We also access the Sheet regularly to search for previous jobs and information, which is normally where the slow loading time occurs. Our leadership is working on a much larger sheet, intake form, which is going to hit the capacity quickly so wondering what other companies do to handle this. Thanks.
