Does sorting not stick?

I have a sheet that is a recipient of a 'Copy Row' automation when criteria on a different sheet is met. In the recipient sheet, we have it sorted in a particular manner but it seems to break all the time and just shuffle the rows around. From what I can tell, it is in no particular order either. We were assuming that the copied rows would just be moved to the bottom, and the previously existing sorting would be there. I assumed the automation was messing with the sorting, but we noticed it happened even without a row being copied over. Thoughts? TYIA!!

A sheet stays however it was last left, and copied rows go to the bottom. So if someone else is going into the sheet and sorting it differently, it will stay that way until someone else comes into the sheet and resorts it. There is a product offered by @SSFeatures that keeps auto sort and will even place the new rows into the sorting.

Hi @KevinHarrisCHT, I created a browser extension to solve a lot of the sorting problems that people run into. I pretty much just go through this Community looking for feature requests and problems and add them into the extension.

This page talks about the sorting features that the extension has so far:

    https://ssfeatures.com/features/auto-sort

There's also a demo video at the bottom to show it all in action.

This page shows more features that we have so far:

    I hope this helps!
