Esign w/o DocuSign Automatic Workflow

I am building an onboarding WorkApp for my company.

DocuSign, unfortunately, only allows 100 documents to be sent out in a single year, even on the business pro tier and is the only integration directly used with SmartSheet for e-signing. As I need to send out hundreds, potentially thousands of e-sign documents in a single month if my App is accepted by the company, DocuSign is, therefore, completely useless to me.

My company uses the complete Microsoft suite, plus Adobe, so I would like to use Adobe (Acrobat Sign) to do this.

I haven't delved too deep into how to use something like Power Automate or Zapier to achieve this, but I have read it is possible.

What I would like to have happen is upon specific triggers, an automatic e-sign document is sent out to contacts in a row. For example, a new row is added for a new employee, which triggers a welcome email with a document detailing specific PPE they must purchase before coming to the site. They sign it, and then it is cc'd to the facility manager where the employee will work. It is also automatically added back into the smartsheet row, though if that is not possible, I could always set up a OneDrive to gather the documents.

Can someone please tell me the software and the process I need to build to achieve this?

Keep in mind I already used DocuSign to achieve this, and it worked fine, except that I got locked out of DocuSign for having sent out 80 signatures when I was only supposed to send out 10 signs. They blatantly misrepresent how many documents you can send on their upgrade tier packages page. So I already have the metadata sheet built with the contact columns. The part I don't know is how to use powerautomate or zapier or some other workflow to achieve this.

    hi Brad,

as you are aware smartsheet out of box comes only with docusign.

I was using zapier for the automatins that Smartsheet was not able to help me and I was pretty satisfied.

You can always check what APPS are working with zapier before you decide to use and pay for it (I remember it was like 100 tasks per month for free with zapier but also with limited zaps structure).

You can also consider ordering an API which will connect with Smartsheet and another e-signature service.

    Hope it helps.
