Remove workspace shared users from 1 sheet

We are working on setting up our Career Reviews in Smartsheets.

We have a group of all staff that has access to all sheets in our workspace.

I want to remove them access from just the Career Review Sheets. When I do that it says it will remove them from access to the entire workspace, which is not what we want.

The only way I can think of is to create a new workspace just for career reviews. Would be great to see any other suggestions.

Hello @AmandaHore,

How it works in Smartsheet is that when you share the workspace with someone the permission is automatically inherited to all the objects in the workspace like sheet, report, dashboard. So if you want to share only 1 sheet with a person from this workspace you would need to remove the permission sharing from entire workspace and share manually each object with this person.

Thanks - that is what I thought but was hoping it wasn't the case. I will create a new workspace for this.
