Weekending Thought: Filter or Formula?
Anyone else ever have this thought when designing/building a solution?
I tend to draft out different scenarios on a piece of paper and test them in Smartsheet to document the outcomes.
What is a good practice you apply when designing/building your Smartsheet solution for yourself or clients?

I do the same. When I'm meeting with clients, we process map the entire solution end to end before we even open Smartsheet. I start from the intended outcome and work the process backwards.

I find it is also helpful to take the time to get to know who on the client side will be managing and building upon the solution post implementation.
- Building/designing for future users is important because simplicity is often the key.
- Directing teams to Smartsheet University and encouraging them to join the community.
- Documenting all aspects of the solution as if the user(s) never used Smartsheet before.
- Start information sharing from day one.
