Calculate first working day of a month

Hello

I need 2 formulas please to calculate

(1) the first working day of a month

So - 1 December 2024 is on a Sunday, I want the returned date to be 2 December 2024.

1 November 2024 is on a Friday, I want returned date to be 1 November 2024.

(2) the first Thursday of a month

So for December 2024, the returned date should be 4 December 2024

This is for a plan with annual recurring tasks. I don't want to have to set up a new plan every year.

I tried using the new AI but it kept saying it couldn't generate the formula based on what I was asking.

Hi @aneekahTAL - I use a workday formula for this and depending on the need I use a helper column to connect and cascade sheets (due to sheet row limitations). Hope this helps. 🙂
