Calendar View does not Default to Today

My calendar has a Date column and I have dates in the past and future, but when we use the calendar view, it opens to February 2026. Is smartsheet no longer following the rule below?

Where the Calendar View opens up to will depend on the content you have in your sheet:
- If you have dates both in the past
andin the future, the Calendar View will open to Today's Date. - If you only have dates in the past, it will open to the oldest/earliest recorded date.
- If you only have dates in the future, it will open to the closest recorded date to Today.
