Is it possible to have a link to a latest revision sent out on a workflow?

We are in the process of setting up a new system and would like to set up an automated email to be sent when triggered, that includes a link to the latest revision of a document. This document will be stored in a sharepoint file. Is this a case of adding the link to the sharepoint file in the text of the automated message? Or is there a smarter way to do this? Any guidance would be appreciated.

hi @Nikki_85,

If you are sending the link to a document that is outside Smartsheet I think it's not possible for Smartsheet to know what is the latest version of the doucment in Sharpoint / GoogleDrive / OneDrive etc. you shall make sure that under the link that is shared in smartsheet the lates version of the document resides.

you can always build API between those two systems or use Bridge if you have access but as a core funcionality smartsheet will not know if there is never version of document in Sharepoint.
