While travel is always nice, mine is slightly different. I can find time to do all sorts of things, but can't find time to reach out to a friend or family member. 2024 taught me I need to live and focus for today, and there's going to come a day when those friends and family member won't be here.

One adventure that's still on my bucket list? A hot air balloon ride. I almost checked it off during a trip to Arizona, but just a few hours before takeoff, the excursion was canceled due to a thunderstorm. The sky will have to wait a little longer, but I’m determined to experience that breathtaking view one day soon! ✨🎈

My next bucket list item will be a visit to Japan. I have wanted to visit for as long as I can remember. I know they have their own flaws, but I do admire so much about their culture. Coming from the US I suspect it will be a huge culture shock. However, I am afraid to visit as I am fairly convinced, I would never want to leave. I am scheduling this trip for 2026 so this year will be finishing my degree and transferring to my IT PM team.

What is an item on your bucket list that you haven’t done yet?

Buy a single-family house and own the land beneath it too. My husband wants to stay in this area (City of San Diego) and it's way too expensive for our income with current interest rates. His long-term financial plan is to win the lottery, ha ha ha. Wish me luck!
