search function not bringing user to the row of the "found" item.

Hello,

Some of our users are noticing search issues today with wildcard searches in grid view. The search function searches properly however is not bringing user to the row when clicking the found item. In some cases clicking the up or down arrow on the keyboard will refresh it, for others it's no where near the item in the sheet. Anyone having issues today with searches?

Hi there @kmorsesmartsheet, in our case the search displays the item being sought, but clicking on the found item refreshes the sheet and lands you on the identified row. This was not the case 2 days ago or any day before.The refresh is a brutal inconvenience. I have reported this to support, but apparently the responding support person is not experienced with the search function and assumes the refreshing is expected and has always been like that. I made a suggestion that the issue must be escalated to the developers since it is obvious that this is a glitch and inconveninience that they will not be proud of. Please everybody submit this issue to support.

Similar issue: While using Chrome I can no longer use Control F to access search and replace on a sheet. This is in both grid view and in the automation management. This seems to be only on newer sheets - my older sheets work fine. This seems to be confined to Chrome - if I use Microsoft Edge I can use it without any problems.

EDIT: It's working now. No idea what changed…
