I strongly believe in prioritizing the column formatting issue as soon as possible to establish uniformity in currency, percentages, decimals, and text alignment throughout our worksheets. The current inconsistencies lead to disruptions when we move rows from other sheets, which is simply unacceptable. This inconsistency not only causes frustration but also requires excessive time to track down and fix errors. Even a single cell with the wrong formatting can disrupt the entire dataset, impacting row summary reports and the reliability of the graphs tied to those reports.
Moreover, I recommend that a hidden unique coding system be introduced under the defined column names. This enhancement would facilitate developers' reviewing and renaming columns as project demands evolve—an essential need in our fast-paced environment. We must recognize that changing naming conventions can complicate matters significantly as our systems grow in complexity. It’s important to keep crucial features such as API connections, DataMesh, and DataShuttle, among others, functioning correctly while ensuring we do not lose essential summary data in our reports due to renamed columns, which can jeopardize other interconnected features.
This is a critical issue that should have been addressed long ago.
P.S. Additionally, please ensure that cell justification is included in our conditional formatting.
Oh, and when trying to add a new contact in the contact form, keying the letters "S" and "J" doesn't always work, lol…
