SmartSheet new user subscription model (USM) - provisional status
Currently, there is no notification / pop up / label / status etc, for an end user to know and realize that they become a provisional status user type (and will be either upgrade to Member or downgrade to Viewer at the next true-up / reconciliation)
This indication is essential and important, as the end user should know that this (full/member) access is provisional/temporary, and also it comes with an additional cost (when upgrade to a Member)

100% agree with this statement.

Agree, plus alot of companies allocate licenses (memberships) at the cost center level and those costs cant be incurred without prior approval.

110% correct! I will go one step further and say the System Admin also needs to be notified. In a larger company (like mine) it is all but impossible to manage the provisional members without knowing WHEN the membership was created, WHO created it, and from WHICH asset.

I 100% agree. We were limited to just to the IT department, but we are slowly expanding elsewhere in the organization. But now with caution due to the limitations of what I call the "All or nothing" access. There is not audit trails of admins which is why we have limited it to just 3 people with myself being the primary person only. 9/10 I am the one making changes as the lead admin but if I am out of the office and someone who doesn't do the admin duties daily sometimes can cause problems that I then need to chase down.
