Commenter Permissions Not Working

We have long running projects, managed on Smartsheet, shared to the project team, with commenter access. This has been successfully working for many months. This week, I have had three colleagues reach out and say they are unable to post comments. Please can someone help. I have checked permissions and account logins are the same. I have even suggested restarting the laptop. Thanks. Seems to be working for most, but not all the team.

Are they internal users that don't have licenses?

The team all have free access licences enabling them to leave comments, view my task reports etc. this has been working for the last 18 months, but this week a few of the users are reporting they can no longer leave comments. They are internal users i.e. not external to the business.

Have you been transferred to the new licensing model, or are you still using the legacy one?

If you have been transferred to the new user subscription model, you must also have a license for the commenters.
