After 20+ years as an Excel Power user, I'm not prone to saying that neither it is any better or worse. What I would say is that "Smartsheet is Excel for Visualizers!" The two are the same only in base programming. They differ greatly in functionality and usage. There are things that Smartsheet will never be able to do by not being a Microsoft 360 product or an installed program. But that is also where Smartsheet's sets its' self apart. Being able to easily create visibility into data that is entered from multiple sources then act automatically on that information, is not easily done other places.

Smartsheet is spreadsheet on steriods!!! It's functionality is so easy to use as long as you know what the end result you want. And when you don't know what your end result is, the community is always there to help you get there.
