Dashboard - Viewer not allowed access to see sheets they are editors of

Hi all,

I have sent two emails to Smartsheet support and haven't heard anything in a week on this issue.

We went onto the Smartsheet Business Plan 26th September 2024 (3 members). I set up sheets and dashboards for my contracting team (5 other people - who are not members). They have share access as "Editors" to all the sheets contained in this Dashboard. They are "Viewers" of this Dashboard.

Up until a few business days ago this worked perfectly, they could view the different sheets data throught his dashboard and then suddenly they all see the message below in the screenshot. Which is infuriating because we have changed nothing.

I have had each of the 5 contractors go into the sheets indvidually and they have confirmed they can see and edit data directly in each of the sheets displayedd on the dashboard. But when going to the dashboard directly there is no access to viewing this data (this doesn't make sense!).

Can anyone please help as i'm not getting any responses from email support. Happy to try anything here.

You have to change the Publish Settings so it's not set to "Only available to users on the Same…"

Thanks for chimming in here. You led me to the solution! It wasn't the publish in the dashboard but in the sheets themselves (which you may or may not have meant). But changing it to this option did the job. Insane that it worked for 5 months and then all of a sudden had to go and do this.
