Add conversations to reports

I see that as far back as 2020 this has been asked, but I don't see the ability to create a report with the comment/conversations. Am I missing something?

Conversations are available in Reports! As long as the Report is a Row Report (looking at the rows in the sheet where comments can be added).

If you don't see it on the left, then it's possible that the Report creator has hidden the column:

Yes, you can add the most recent comment to a Dashboard. The way I would do this is to add the "Latest Comment" column as a column in your sheet and then Report. Then use the Report Widget!

Hi @cavalid6

The Latest Comment column will show you the last comment on the row, surfaced in a cell. You can then hide the comments column if you don't want the other details to be immediately visible.

If you want to record the date of that comment, you could use a workflow to record a date in a column next to it, with the trigger being "when a comment is added".

Please feel free to add your vote to this enhancement request idea for if you want the date to appear in the same cell:Data and hours in the latest comment column

To see all comments for the row, you will want to ensure that comments column from my first screen capture is visible! The Latest Comments type of column will only surface the latest one.
