I would love to be able to go back and pick up piano lessons. I started that a long time ago, and as I got older, it got replaced with swimming, college activities, and just life in general.
Definitely playing the piano for me! 🎹🎶

Making new friends and being a good friend to the ones I have are skills I would like to improve upon. I've worked from home for many years now so making new friends is really hard.
-
Documenting practical use cases for using AI at work instead of going out of the way to find a way to use AI that actually creates more effort and time consumed.
-
The skill that I would like to improve is remaining curious versus being judgmental. I need to remember not everyone views an issue the same as I do. A person past experiences determines or shapes a person current view of an issue which is not the same as my past experiences.

Learning to practice self-grace.

Mine is Smartsheet related. I've been at my current job for almost 1.5 years and I've got access to more Smartsheet options than I had at my previous employer. I've been wanting to learn and get exposed to Dynamic View and WorkApps, but have only recently got involved in a few projects where I am working on putting those tools into practice. So I'm looking forward to learning about them more, finding best practices and new use cases, then advocating for the usage of them based on my enhanced understanding of each.
Short story long, I'd like to expand my Smartsheet knowledge and 2025 is going to be a great opportunity for that. Let's go! 🚀

Great question!
I know for me personally, I usually focus on my strengths, and not enough time on skills that I could improve. I am not a fan of the word "weaknesses." Sometimes, psychologically, it can have a negative connotation of failure, not good enough, or something I will continue to struggle with, etc.
A skill that I would like to improve into a Strength would be my anxiety. Sometimes I get anxious and make impulsive decisions, and I am trying to slow down. Think things through before making a decision. When I am anxious, my thoughts get cloudy. I accept I have anxiety and it is a part of my life. I will do my best to navigate it and improve my living situations. -
A skill I would love to perfect is reading my teenage daughter's eye rolls! Ha! But seriously, I need to get better at time management. At work, it doesn't seem to be a problem, but at home, it is a different story!

Public Speaking! lol
I want to improve my public speaking skills by becoming more confident, engaging, and articulate. My goal is to speak clearly, manage nervousness, and effectively connect with my audience.
Work Smarter, Not Harder

One skill I'd like to improve in is my work-life balance mindset. I would love to never experience a burnout again and by respecting my own time, and not working myself into the dead of night or through weekends, I know I can get there.

I would like to develop my empathy. It is such a powerful communication tool everyone could stand to improve. It involves listening, understanding, and action.
-
The skill I am working to improve upon is ensuring people feel seen and heard when communicating with me.
-
The one thing I would like to improve is my communication skills…
When we have the ability to communicate well so many opportunities become available. -
I would like to improve my guitar skills. I've been playing for many years, but I'm still very much a chord strummer. I can play difficult things when I sit down and apply myself. I'd like to apply myself more often so that if I'm invited to jam with others, I can carry my part without hesitation.
-
One Skill that I would like to improve is time management. I am great under pressure and mostly organized but sometime I feel scattered and I would love to learn how to manage that better. I often have several things come to mind at once and often find myself "going down the rabbit hole" on a project.
