Cell Linking Multiple Cells with Control Center

I have two items that are provisioned in Control Center when a user submits a new project - one is a checklist and one is the project team list. In the checklist, the role for each task is linked to the team list (so a person can be marked the Project Manager in the team list and all applicable tasks in the checklist will be assigned to this person). The issue I am trying to avoid is linking each cell manually because there are 500+ rows. I read about a workaround using a cross sheet reference INDEX formula that you could then copy to other cells but I wasn't sure how that cross sheet would work with control center?

Cross sheet references will update.It works the same as "Save as New".
