How to auto-populate a form using data in reference sheets?
Is there a way for Smartsheet to auto-populate a form with reference information from a 'master sheet' as I'm filling it out?
Example: I'm trying to build a survey within Smartsheet and want to have a master sheet that contains all of the non-profits that we participate in. Upon selecting a non-profit from a dropdown in the form, I'd like their information to appear in the next field(s) based on what we have listed in that master sheet. This would be a way to confirm the information rather than having the user manually fill it out each time.
I've seen other posts from years ago and noticed this wasn't something that could be done unless a URL query feature was created. However, I don't want to have to continuously stop the user and send them an updated link with that information. I thought based on the volume of posts I've seen about this that as solution would've been built but I can't seem to find one.
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

This isn't possible within SS Forms. You can use formulas with cross sheet references to bring the data into the submission sheet from the master sheet after the form has ben submitted, but to get this to operate within the form itself, you may need to explore third party options for other forms that do have the capability and can be linked to Smartsheet.

@Jonathan Motta forms this is not possible, what is possible with forms is pre populating data for 1 form entry from the URL that they click. Anything behind a ? in a url is what is called a get variable and these get variables can store data in the URL to be populated into the form.

How many fields of information would you like to show from how many different selections?
I hope that helps!
