With this new release does Smartsheet support auto save when making entries? Do we need to enable this functionality? Ty!!!

Disliking table view quite a bit thus far.
Seems at minimum like it was released way too soon, as some standard features are not even useable yet, forcing us to switch back to grid view to manage them.
I'm all for change, and I'm looking forward to enhancements.
The simplest things, like how the column titles widths change between grid and table views, or the lack of vertical column borders, is very frustrating. I do understand that everyone has different preferences and may welcome something like removing borders.
Those are just two quick examples. A handful of others were annoying. So I will just wait a while to check out tables again. The same goes for Timeline view.
*** One of the best overall things I love about Smartsheet, especially compared to other vendors, is its flexibility and options of choice … with views, displays, layouts, etc. It is not an off the shelf app that we are stuck with as-built. It is just the right amount of customizable.-PB

When do you plan to sunset the Grid view?

How do you perform a find and replace in the Table layout? I've been able to locate the find feature and really like the filtering of the results down to matching rows only, but cannot figure out how to replace values. Any help here would be greatly appreciated.

I'm using the new Table view and am trying to do a "Find and Replace", but do not see how this would be done in the new view. Is this an option, and if yes, how might I perform this task?

Yes, Table view is compatible with Data Shuttle and you can view and manage your workflows from the toolbar (Data Integrations menu). And, yes, you can add attachments to rows in Table view. If you encounter any issues with this please reach out. Thanks! -

Hi @Shawn_K2 Thanks for this feedback. We are looking to bring this type of functionality to table view in the future. One thing you can do is create a file review in the file library and add the link as an attachment to a row in table view. Or you can continue using grid view for access to proofs for now. Thanks!

Hi @Craig.Hill - You can "find" with the ctrl-f / cmd-f or by clicking the search icon in the toolbar. "Replace" functionality is not yet available in table view.

Thanks for the question. Yes, table view automatically and continuously saves as you make change. The only thing you need to do to "enable" it is simply switch to table using the view switcher in the toolbar on a sheet. If you want to make table the default view for other users on your sheet, you can set a default view in the "share" dialog window.
