New User Type - Limited User with only specific editable columns

I understand the need for the new pricing model implemented for Smartsheets. I would like one more free permission level added if possible. For those that just need to change status or date, could we have columns that are designated for limited user. Maybe two or three columns that are assigned to a person that they can update. It not free, maybe a really small monthly fee, like $5.
