Calendly Integration

We are looking to be able to use Bridge, or any other available service, to be able to have appointment times scheduled in Calendly, flow into a Smartsheet grid. Has anyone already done this that could share its code and success?

@Gina Smith you would setup Calendly against your outlook then you can either use partner apps or custom integrations to get it from outlook to grid.

@Andrée Starå - unfortunately I don't think our parent company will approve a 3rd party software for this so Zapier, etc. is out of the question. Thank you for the suggestion.

I help manage InfoSpark's Outlook Calendar sync product for Smartsheet, so this is something I've been spending a lot of time looking at.

@prime_nathaniel and @Andrée Starå have offered some excellent guidance, as always!

IT teams having very strict policies around the use of third party software is a common impediment to getting these kinds of use cases solved. We've spent a lot of the last six months working with organisations to implement our Outlook calendar connector and realised that there was a need for a method of deploying a calendar sync with a minimal amount of access.

To solve this, we implemented a method of doing an Outlook Calendar sync with no special access to Microsoft/Office 365, and restricted access to the Smartsheet. This drastically reduces the risk profile through the eyes of IT and has the added benefit of having a very simple setup process. The "gotcha" is that there is some limitation around functionality, but for use cases like yours it would probably not actually be an issue at all.
