Has anyone connected Smartsheet forms to an AI service that fills PDFs?

Hi all,
Weโre a small legal practice in NYC. Smartsheet forms let us collect client details for Housing Court petitions, Small Claims applications, and other court paperwork.
The bottleneck is each submission requires us to manually copy data into the official NYC court PDF forms. Itโs slow and easy to mess up.
I recently heard about Instafill.ai, a service that uses AI and LLM technology, which claims it can pull data from web forms, spreadsheets, or emails and drop it directly into PDF fields. They say their models are fine-tuned for legal documents and offer high accuracy.
Has anyone here linked Smartsheet with this or any similar PDF-filling tool? Iโm especially interested in how you set up the integration (Bridge, Data Shuttle, API, or another method), how accurate the resulting PDFs were, how much time the automation saved you.
Our goal is to automate this step, reduce errors, and turn documents around faster for clients.
Thank you in advance for any insights.

Hi @rcole
Have you looked at the Document Builder feature that is built into Smartsheet already? Maybe take a look at that and see if works for you.
I hope that helps.

Thanks Matt, I appreciate the suggestion and will definitely check out Document Builder.
For context, some court forms include long narrative fields and other free-form data that donโt map cleanly to columns. We tested the solution mentioned in this post and it felt like a better fit for our workflow because it handled batch-filled the PDFs without extra setup. Weโre open to any solution that works the same way, so far, we havenโt found another option. If anyone knows of one, Iโd love to hear about it.
