How do I let someone see status of their approval workflow?

Sorry if I missed this in other community posts or the help center, but I how do I let individuals who fill out forms see the status of their approval workflow?

Currently, a student submits a form for approval and then it routes to 2-3 faculty members. How do I let the student who submitted the form check on where their form is in the approval workflow?
