Document Generation - multiple templates with similar conditions

Hi,

I have two templates that I want to have generated upon form submission and various other triggers in my workflow. Due to potential changes, I have it re-generate so the final "step" is the version that has the most updated information.

I currently have 6 templates in a single workflow, with my condition for each being a count of the "ORG codes" (a template for 1 ORG code has fields for 1 transaction, a template for 3 ORG codes has fields for 3 transactions, etc. Since you can't do conditional fields on a pdf, I created a second template with a section for "emergency events" which is the only difference between the templates.

I tried adding a condition to my initial document generation workflow that has both the count of the ORG code and if the "emergency event" was not blank but when I tested, the template that populated was the non-emergency event template, which is incorrect.

I believe that once Smartsheet has a match of conditions, it will trigger the workflow, so I tried re-ordering the conditions but that didn't work.

I'm not sure how else to make this work, has anyone ran into this before and if so, is there a solution?

@Murz For your Condition 1 if you add "where [State of Emergency Event] is blank"

I think that would do it for you in your use case?
