Using Salesforce connector to sync go live dates and drive dependencies

Hello Smartsheet community,
My team uses Salesforce as the system of record to help identify which Salesforce projects will be provisioned in Control Center. One of the problem areas is that go-live dates can shift and it's a pain to update the Smartsheet side if I'm already using Salesforce Connector to pull in the Target Go Live Date.
One of the recent enhancements I've made was cell linking the "Target Go Live" from a sheet to our Control Center project intake form. The project intake form has several columns that are using Salesforce Connector. Target Date being one of them. I noticed now that any rows that used the "Target go live" as the dependency is no longer populating the start & end dates.
I couldn't find anything specific to my use case in community so hoping someone can provide some insight if cell references is a limitation for dependencies or if it's something else.
Here's a screenshot of the sheet that does populate start & end dates when a date is applied to a cell (row 1098)
Here's a screenshot of the sheet that uses cell linking from Profile Data that is also using Salesforce Connector to pull in Target Go Live Date

Hello! I've experienced issues having predecessors on parent (roll-up) rows. Perhaps attempt the look-up on a child row and/or removing the predecessors from the parent rows.
"Due to theΒ parent roll-up functionality, adding predecessors to a parent row in a hierarchy applies the predecessor to all child rows. This dependency relationship determines the start date for each child row and restricts direct changes to those dates in the child rows. To work around this, remove the predecessor value on the parent row to make child rows editable so you can change dates manually." - Activate dependencies and use predecessors in sheets | Smartsheet Learning Center
