I have a workflow with approval request. The email notification to the approver shows several selected fields including the attachments. As the approver has "editor" rights to the SmartSheet, the approver will also have the option of "Upload Files" through the approval request email. Which is great. However, SmartSheet will not apply attachment version control if another file with the same name is added through the approval email "Open request" option. I'm now having 2 files with the same file name, but different content attached to the record. That brings us into issues with any further (next step/level) approvers, who will not know, which file is the correct one. Is there a setting to select version control in that case?
