Greetings, we are inside an evaluation of SmartSheet and would like to know the best way to import our data from AirTable. Any help would be great. Thanks! Dave 😊
Hi, I hope you're well and safe! There are a couple of options.
1️⃣ Premium App, Data Shuttle. (Export from Airtable, Import to Smartsheet)
2️⃣ Premium App, Bridge.
3️⃣ Smartsheet API
4️⃣ 3rd-party options like Zapier, Make, and similar. Would any of those options work/help? I hope that helps! Be safe, and have a fantastic day! Andree, thanks for the quick reply! Regarding the Premium App and Data Shuttle. (Export from Airtable, Import to Smartsheet)
We will be on a single-user Pro Plan - is the Data Shuttle an extra license? I have no issues with exporting the data, as it will not be syncing; I need to move it. My content on Airtable is basic in structure and design. Thanks for your valuable time in helping!
Dave
Andree, I think I found my answer thanks to Perplexity
Yes, Data Shuttle is an additional cost on Smartsheet and is not included with the Pro (single user) plan. Data Shuttle is only available as an add-on for the Business and Enterprise plans or included in the Advanced Work Management plan, not in the Pro plan. So, when looking for a one-time import from Airtable to Smart Sheet for a single user on the Pro Plan, I assume I can export the data from Airtable, perhaps into Excel, and then import it back into Smart Sheet? What is the Bridge Option, and can it be used with a Pro subscription? Dave
Happy to help! Unfortunately, Bridge isn't available as an add-on on the Pro plan.
More info.
Yes, export from Airtable and then maybe use the below if needed to help with the import.
I'd recommend the fantastic add-on, which makes this possible (+ many other features).

I'd like to create a purchase order form that allows users to select items from a drop-down list and display the quantity and total of each item. I have created a sheet, but all of the items in the primary column do not appear as a dropdown.
What I'm looking to do is use a survey to get end user feedback. This form will be the same for each customer. This information would need to be accessible by my company, the customer and probably the manufacturer as well. They'd only need access to their information; Customer A can't see Customer B and C's feedback and…
How can i set the sheet to autosave like it does in excel.? It doesn't seem to do that and i have to save each time.
