Error on android. For your security, Smartsheet does not run on emulated environments.

Hello,

I'm having an error opening my smartsheet app. It has previously worked fine for 2 years, but now it is throwing this error when I try to open it.

I do not have an emulated android environment.

I am not using a VPN.

I have restarted the phone, reinstalled smartsheet. cleared the data and the cache. I can not open the app. Has anyone encountered this error?

We have now released a new version of the Mobile App to address this issue - please update the Smartsheet Mobile App on your device to ensure you no longer see the error.

I am having the exact same problem. Also restarted and uninstalled/reinstalled. Still getting the error message and unable to access anything on mobile. Is there a contact number to call about this? The AI help is absolutely zero help.

Same issue here, "For your security Smartsheet does not run in emulated environment." I am not hopeful that this will be resolved!

Sorry to hear, but I'm glad that it's not just me. I'm running OxygenOS v14 on a OnePlus 9 phone. What is your OS version and hardware, out of curiosity?

My account does not have access to the smartsheet support portal. It redirects me account access information. It will not let me submit a ticket.

I would like to keep this thread open to collaborate with others who are encountering this problem

Hi, I'm getting the above error trying to run Smartsheet app on our android tablets - the details are as follows -

Android v12
Honeywell EDA10A

I have tried the following -

Checked for app updates
Checked for android OS updates
Uninstalled, deleted cache and storage then reinstalled
Tried on an identical device - same error
Tried on an android phone - same error

Thanks for bringing this to our attention! I can confirm that our Product team is aware of this issue and is investigating. We are not able to provide a time-frame on how long the resolution could take but we are doing our best in order to have this fixed as soon as possible. I will update on this thread when I have any further information.

Because of the nature of my business, if it's not resolved in the next 24 hours, I'll need to cancel my service with Smartsheet. Unfortunate, because up until now it's been great.

I am trying to open the app in a brand new device as of 9/5/25. I am getting the same error. I am trying to use an Eunivon Smart White Board with Android 14 on it. Is there anything else I can try? I just downloaded the app from the App Store.
