Auto Number Column doesn’t generate numbers for rows created through a form

Hi,

I have a Smartsheet where staff members can use a form to submit products for review by office leadership. Each submission should generate a product number, which an automation sends over to the submitting staff member.

However, those rows/products being entered into the Smartsheet through a form are NOT generating auto numbers. If I manually add a product to a new row it will generate the auto numbers and trigger my automation, though.

It’s really weird because I had the sheet working as I wanted last week. What could be causing this issue?
