First of all, I use Smartsheet Gov, which I know differs (substantially) from Smartsheet Commercial, as I previously worked with that for about 3 years at my previous company.
First Question, for forms, is there a way to LOCK a field? We have a field that comes up auto populated with the TDL #, based on the site where the user entered. The issue is the user can overwrite this data. It may be intentional or an accident, however it can be done. We want to be able to lock certain fields like this. The same is true of the user name, that is auto populated based on their sign on to Smartsheet.
On a side note, is Dynamic Dropdown available for Smartsheet Gov yet?
Second question, is there a way to LOCK down fields that are dropdown menus? It appears that users can manually type or copy/paste something into that field.
These 2 issues are causing our data to be skewed. Some of these issues we find, and others we do not find.
