My team uses Smartsheet for milestone task tracker and then Fieldwire for all things engineering drawings. When boots are on the ground, tasks are created in Fieldwire since you can tag drawings / portions accordingly. In the past six months, they introduced a Smartsheet integration where it can create and every 24-hours update a grid in Smartsheet to show ALL tasks across ALL projects. I was excited at the prospect of being able to put together a Smartsheet dashboard / compile reports based on said grids.
That said, those integrated grids populate into their own workspace initially but then you can relocate to whatever shared workspace you would like and still update every 24-hours. Now that I am creating a report to filter and help colleagues visibility of those grids I am finding that not everyone can view them. Despite being a paid or free user in our workspace, when I have them check the filters on the report they appear to be blank, so there is some error occurring to my eyes on the Smartsheet reporting level. I am inclined to point the finger at Smartsheet for this, since it's a report I have created in Smartsheet that is having this problem. To be clear, the grid is the only thing that was created and then is updated by Fieldwire and I have ensured it is in the shared workspace. Any thoughts on why this error is occurring? Something that could drastically improve my quality of life is really making me scratch my head. It should be so simple. Thanks.
