Can I use the formula COUNTIF to give me the number of hires by week?

Hi,

I have my COUNTIF formula started to show the total number of hires in each category type however I need to further break it down by week. Ideally showing the number of hires within the next 7 days per category. I am feeding this sheet into a metric widget on a dashboard for others to view and would like to not have to manually update it weekly.

Here is the formula that I have started which did work for column 2 numbers. Looking to add to it for column 3 numbers that fit the above criteria -

=COUNTIF({Current Offers & Onboarding Range 1}, ="Demotion")

You would use a COUNTIFS instead, and then you would be able to add another range/criteria set for the date evaluation piece.

=COUNTIFS({Range 1}, @cell = [Hire Type]@row, {Date Range}, AND(@cell >= TODAY(), @cell <= TODAY(7)))
