Dropdown Link is not working for me.

I am testing on this dropdown link but it is not working for me. 😣

I created both the source and destination sheet.

Source sheet: text number or dropdown list column

Destination sheet: dropdown list column

After linking the dropdown list from destination sheet to the source sheet, the data is not showing in my destination column. It is still empty and when I click on column property again, there is "no link".. I have been doing it multiple times, but the same behaviour is happening.

Have tried with Smartsheet app, browser, incognito… but still the same.

Anyone facing the same? Meanwhile I have also submitted support ticket and while waiting for an answer, just checking if anyone experiencing the same or only me?
