Automated Alert and Approval Emails Are Not Being Received

Hi everyone,

Since today, June 24, 2026, our Smartsheet automated emails have stopped working. Alert notifications and Approval Requests that were being delivered normally until yesterday are no longer reaching any recipients.

We have not made any changes to our workflows or automation settings. We have also checked spam folders, verified recipient email addresses, and reviewed notification settings, but the issue persists.

Is anyone else experiencing the same problem today? If so, have you found any workaround or received any information from Smartsheet Support?

This issue is affecting our daily operations, so any information would be greatly appreciated.

We have had some trouble with automations today related to update requests. I saw another chat with a similar issue. I checked the Smartsheet Status site and it looks like there is an issue that is being investigated.

I am currently setting up an automation for people to get notified through their email, when they are prompted. But is there a way that they can reply in the email of a comment that will then go to the specific sheet. This way they do not have access to the sheet, but can just comment through email with updates?
