notification for part of group

Hi, 

 

I have a smartsheet and I heard that I can set up notification rules and applied for all shared users. E.g. My sheet is shared with 20 people. There is a column in Smartsheet, "meeting date". I just want notification is triggered as meeting date is changed to any value. 

However, if I only want notification only triggered to certain number of  people (e.g., 10), is there any other way to do. I know that I can put 10 email address one by one...time consuming

Sorry, I type wrong message. I mean I do not need to go to those 10 people's smartsheet, and then set up the notification (meeting date change)  one by one

Hello, 

We currently don't have the ability to send the notification to a specific number of shared users. But you can submit an enhancement request for this functionality here so it can be considered by our development team for future implementations.

You will want to either create a contact list column type in your sheet and insert the contacts you want to send notifications to there. Then set up the notifications to the be sent to contacts in that column.
