Sending notifications, regularly, say every Monday

I somewhat remember to read in the community that this is not supported, but want to confirm.

I'd like to send a notification to people who are shared a sheet, regularly, say every Monday. How do I do it?

No condition to set, simply every Monday (for example).

Thanks for your advice!

    Hello,

    You will need to have a criterion set up in order to send the notification. Once the criterion is set up, you can click delivery settings at the bottom of the notification form and select the once a week delivery option. However, you will not be able to select a specific day. If you set up the notification on a Monday, the next one will be sent the next Monday.

    You can submit an enhancement request for the ability to choose the delivery day of a notification here so it can be considered by our development team for future implementations.

    What sort of Notification are you looking for?

    Notification on what? Status? Notifications are based on changes to something on the Row.

    You might investigate Reminders instead.

  • I know this is a year late - but I think I figured out a good work around for now

    1. Create a checkbox column

    2. Use the following formula: =IF(WEEKDAY(TODAY()) = 2, 1, 0)

    3. Build your notification rule on this column being checked.

    This formula is just check what day today is, and if it's a Monday then the box will check off. Hope this helps!
