completed tasks
Hello. I have set up a basic sheet to track open tasks with due dates. My question is once the tasks are complete, is there a folder or someplace where I can archive the completed tasks instead of them showing on the same sheet as the open tasks?
Also, are separate tabs available that may be related to the open tasks instead of creating a new sheet?

Hi,
You can handle the archiving of completed tasks in a few different ways. Some ideas below.
1. Thru a parent were you move the completed tasks.
2. With a filter or report that only show you the active tasks.
3. Move the completed tasks to another sheet.

Our team uses a parent row to archive completed tasks. This will allow you to roll up the archive so it doesn't impact your view.
Be aware that moving a row to another sheet causes its cell history to be erased. So if you're dependent on seeing who did what, and when, then you'll want to keep the rows within your sheet.
