How do you set up shared resources
I have several shared resources with another project manager, and would like to figure out a way that we can both see and track their hrs.
Any recommendations on how to quickly set up a resource to be shared by two project managers?
Second question: Is there any way to run a report after the resource has been set up and assigned to multiple projects to get a weekly resource view?
Thanks!

This may be possible, depending on what exactly you are looking to do. Smartsheet does have a resource management feature that any Resource Manager can use to track specific users allocation to tasks. This is only based on percent, not hours.

If you have to track by hours, you could run a COUNTIF formula in a sheet that counts the number of hours a user works. You would first need to pull in the duration into a Text/Number column (to format all the durations the same, m, h, d, etc) then run the COUNTIF on the new column and contact list column.
You can run reports to show all tasks assigned to specific users in a specifc timeframe: http://help.smartsheet.com/customer/portal/articles/522214-creating-reports

Just come accross this thread, having asked a very similar question myself on a new thread (allbeit worded differently - basically I have the same issue).
I want to ssign (for instance) a resource - a draftsman 3 days work on one of my projects next week. He is set up as a user on my workspace and is presently complety unallocated, so I can do this without any overallocation.
However - If the same person is currently allocated 4 days work next week on a nother project (which I have no access to - as is not one of mine) - will this reflect as an over-allocation on my work-space - or will it allow me to assign this without notifing me of the over-allocation?
