Sending sheet as pdf attachment to Apple iMac

Hi

I'm hoping somebody will be able to help please. When i am sending a sheet as 'send as attachment' as a pdf in an email, when it lands on my windows pc it is a pdf attachment, but when it lands on my imac, it is attached as an image. I want to forward the sheet on to others as a pdf attachment but am really struggling to do this from my imac.

Anybody else experienced this and know a solution please.

Hi Alan,

Which e-mail program are you using on the mac?

I just tried it with Apple Mail and it shows like an attachment in the bottom.

Sometimes the attachment looks like a picture but if you preview or open it is an PDF.

If you can it would be helpful if you uploaded a screenshot.

haha, typical, I ask for some advice and then 'send as attachment' again so i can screenshot and send to you, and it comes through as a pdf attachment exactly as In needed ?

I had tried about a dozen times before and it was coming throuigh as an image. I haven't done anything different this time so not sure why it has worked this time ?

I'll be back if i need further help.
