Kanban View - printing or saving to PDF

Hi Glenn,
To my knowledge there isn't a way to print the Kanban view (Card View). Great idea!
Please submit an Enhancement Request when you have a moment.
One possible workaround could be to take a screenshot and print that.
I hope this helps you!

Screenshot only works if all of the cards are viewable on the screen at once. I am so frustrated trying to find a workaround to share my card view with someone. Publishing it doesn't work either.

Hi Stephanie,
You should be able to publish it in Card View. In the Publish Options > Read Only - Full or Edit by Anyone > Publish Settings Default View > Card.
Would that work?
Have a fantastic week!

Thanks for reading and replying to my comment. I have tried that. You still can't print from the published version. And unfortunately, when someone goes to the published version, smartsheet does not remember the settings I used in setting up the card view the way I want it. It defaults to Level 1 tasks and changes the column that I chose for the lanes. I am now trying to figure out how I can rearrange the columns in the sheet to make the lane that I want be the default (out of the 7 potential fields for lanes) and also how to get rid of Level 1 so that the tasks that are currently at my level 2 are what show when you go to the published version. And then I still will have to zoom out so that all of my cards are visible on-screen so that I can take a screen shot and paste the cards into a Word document so that I can print. I am not the only person who uses the sheet but am the only one that has to print my tasks so rearranging the sheet is disruptive to others.
This is a huge workaround and a lot of wasted time for the lack of ability to print Card View.

Happy to help!
That sounds like a lot of work!

I'll get back to you if I come to think about something better!

I too would like to be able to print the card view version.

It seems this feature is not available anymore. Can only publish the Gantt view

it's a shame that this basic feature is not available, two years after discussed in this thread.
And we don't work for SS, you guys are supposed to have a Product Manager of some sort that drives the roadmap based on suggestions from the threads but more importantly, from the suffering of the limitations of this tool in actual projects!
