When importing from Excel I need to fix some of the formulas. This would be easy if I could use a search and replace within all the formulas on the sheet in one go as you can in Excel. Does anyone know if there is a way to do this in Smartsheets?
Hi Mark,
If possible for your use case I would add a character before the = sign and then do the find and replace and lastly do it once more to activate the formulas.
Would that work for you?
I hope this helps you!

What Andrée describes is a manual, tedious process.
There is no show/hide enable/disable feature of formulas like in Excel.
Please submit an enhancement request (I have previously)

Thanks Andrée,
I tried this but in Smartsheets I can't find it in the first place. I tried in Excel but couldn't get it to override the = sign. If is ceases to be a formula in Excel then the columns won't be referenced when it imports into Smartsheets.
Kind Regards
Mark
Thanks Craig,
I have submitted this now
I'm with you Craig but it's a workaround if you don't have too many that you want to change.
Otherwise, it's a tedious task.

Hi again Mark,
It's ok if you don't have too many formulas to change. Otherwise, it's too tedious.
I'm so glad to see others with a similar issue. I'm sorry, however, that there is no solution. I hope that Smartsheet will give this some serious consideration.
Smartsheet are currently asking us to fill in the survey about the Community, so when I filled mine in I suggested that there should be a way of referencing a enhancement request back to the community, seeing as there are a lot of threads like this.
I've also suggested it might make sense to have a button that will create an enhancement request from the discussion!!! I'd be going round creating them right left and centre if they do that, as sometimes I'm just too busy to actually fill in a request at the time, especially as I've usually just found out there's no simple solution and I have to do a workaround!
I think it is actually very unfortunate that Smartsheet has not implemented this feature. Large scale data analysis is even more tedious without this. It seems intuitive that it should be something a spreadsheet program incorporates.
It is sad to see that almost 4 years have passed but this one is still not implemented. What is the sense of submitting an enhancement request if it is not going to be implemented. @J. Craig Williams
I am growing very dismayed that the more I search in this community the more I see the very famous response. I now have as a screen saver! " Unfortunately, it's not possible at the moment, but it's an excellent idea" Smartsheet "no code" really amounts to much code, tedious inputs, reverse engineering escapades to create work arounds for the "product's" overall weaknesses. Does Smartsheet produce a list of updates and releases monthly on improvements? Where do we find that?

I give up - I need help with a seemingly easy formula pls. I have the 2 sheets below - One is list of crew and their credentials. Hello! I've attached a screenshot of what I'm trying to do. Basically, I want to do a SUM formula on the range int eh screenshot IF the left column is "Supplemental" and the top row is Monday-Friday.
