Charts - comparative data colors

I am having an issue with charts and my column colors. I am getting all the same color columns.

I asked about this in the webinar last week and received this answer: "Colors are going to denote different comparative values (what's labeled in your legend). If you're not comparing more that one data set, you won't have multiple colors."

See my screenshot, what am I missing? I have tried added a first row and labeling each one, but still get the same result.

thank you!

    Angie,

It looks like you only have one series of data here per month.  Every series on a table will be denoted with one color.  So if you had two series then you would see them represented as two different series through color.  See example below with RV and Powersports VSA's sold per month as two separate series compared on a chart.  Colors in a charts are to help distinguish and compare multiple series of products, services, etc.

    Thanks

    Sasan
